We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You understand that your content (excluding credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of networks or connecting devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any part of the service, use of the service or access to the service or to any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without written permission from our part.

II. Conditions of the online store

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent yourself as of legal age in your state or province of residence, or that you have given us your consent to allow any of your dependent minors to use this site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you violate the laws of your jurisdiction (including copyright laws). You cannot transmit worms, viruses or other codes of a destructive nature. A violation of any of the Terms will result in the immediate termination of your Services.

III. Availability of products

The items displayed on the website reflect the actual availability of the item in terms of color and size. Once the order has been processed by our logistics department, we reserve the right to reconfirm the availability of the goods, in order to verify the validity of the transaction. Customers will be informed if, for whatever reason, the item ordered is not available or if the order cannot be dispatched in accordance with the customer's request.

IV. Accuracy, completeness and timeliness of information

We are not responsible if the information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or up to date. The content of this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied on or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate or more complete sources of information. Any reliance on the content of this site is at your own risk.

This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not up to date and is provided for informational purposes only. We reserve the right to change the content of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. VI. Products or services

When creating AIKO, we really wanted sustainability to be included. One of AIKO’s top priorities is to make sure the fabrics we select are from secondhand clothes or from any other garment that has already been used. As our creations are always made out of other garments, the textile quantity is low which makes every creation a unique piece. The fabrics used might have some traces and marks of their former lives. But this is where the beauty of AIKO lies.

We have made every effort to display the colors and images of our products that appear in store as accurately as possible. We cannot guarantee that the display of any color on your computer screen will be completely accurate. Please allow slight variance in color based on the lighting used while taking the photo of the garment as well as the display of the device used to view the product online.

We reserve the right to limit sales of our products or services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We can exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services we offer. All product descriptions or product prices are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not guarantee that the quality of any product, service, information or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, nor that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

VII. Accuracy of billing and account information

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, at our sole discretion, limit or cancel the quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card and / or orders using the same billing and / or shipping address. In the event that we modify or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the email and / or billing address / phone number provided at the time of the order. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders which, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed through resellers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made from our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as necessary.

You are able to make a purchase using your credit card through Paypal and Stripe as well as using Bancontact.

No specified update or refresh date applied in the Service or on any related website should be taken as indicating that any information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or

XII. Shipping & delivery

A. Shipping time

Orders are processed Monday through Friday excluding national holidays. Most orders ship within 2 or 3 working days of purchase.

However, shipping times may vary due to availability of the merchandise. Orders will not be delivered on the weekends or national holidays, all orders include tracking number. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages or packages delayed by Bpost, DPD or UPS.

B. Shipping cancellation

Once the order is placed, we cannot make any changes or cancellations prior to shipping.

Note that for Group 1 and Group 2 countries we are obliged to fill the CN23 document which subjects you to possible additional charges from your countries customs system

D. International shipping

International and over-sized orders will incur an additional charge. Any applicable duties and taxes will be assessed upon delivery, to be paid by the order recipient for international purchases. Large items, even if they are lightweight, incur higher shipping costs due to the volume of the shipping box.

XIII. Returns

Please note that in the event of a return, shipping costs and duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

We only accept returns of products purchased on the online store. When requesting a return, you must either specify that you want a refund to return a product within 14 days of receiving your ordered product, but you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving an item. All returned purchased products must be returned (for a refund or exchange) in their entirety, including in their original condition, unused, undamaged, unsoiled, unaltered and complete with all original AIKO packaging. We are not obligated to accept returns that do not meet the above conditions and we may refuse a refund in this case and return such products to the customer or ask the customer to arrange for their collection from us, in each case at the expense of the customer.

A. Return instruction
1) Notify us of a faulty item by sending us a photo evidence via email within 48 hours of receiving an item.
2) You must specify you want a refund or to exchange an item within 14 days of receiving a product.
3) Following the needed criteria stated in the previous question’s answer, ship the product with confirmation of purchase/receipt enclosed.

With each AIKO piece being unique, you might not find what you are looking for. In that case, feel free to submit your request via hello.aikostudio@gmail.com. AIKO will turn your request into a unique piece. If we can’t do so, we’ll let you know as well.
